Emergency response

When something goes wrong, start with a human.

If you are an existing managed client, use your agreed emergency contact path immediately. If you are not yet a client, contact us and preserve as much evidence as you can.

What we do during a creator-account incident

Establish control

Determine what accounts, sessions, devices and recovery methods are still under your control.

Contain

Remove unauthorised access, revoke sessions and applications, secure associated identities and isolate affected endpoints where needed.

Recover

Work through the platform's official recovery mechanisms with the right ownership evidence and a clear incident timeline.

Validate

Review permissions, recovery details, applications, content, monetisation and devices before declaring the incident closed.

If you suspect a takeover right now

Avoid making the incident harder to reconstruct.

Do not delete suspicious emails, browser history or security notifications.
Use a known-clean device for recovery if malware is suspected.
Capture screenshots of account changes, alerts and suspicious activity.
Do not continue entering codes or passwords into a site you now distrust.
Contact the platform through official recovery channels and keep case identifiers.

Managed Creator Security is independent from Google and YouTube. We cannot bypass their identity-verification or recovery processes, but we can prepare, coordinate and guide the security response around them.

Prepare before the incident

The best recovery starts before anything is lost.

Existing managed clients have documented ownership information, recovery paths, device context and response procedures ready before an emergency.
